Today was the day that Contessa was able to start taking orders for Girl Scout cookies. After getting her order forms this morning we went around and she asked a few of our friends. I signed up for 2 classes through a community college (clovis.edu) because I could get 6 credits for the same price as 3 and they offer a digital photogaphy class online! Why is it my kids think they have to have Croup so often? Devin took Cameron to the hopsital last night and gave him a breathing treatment as well as some meds to reduce the swelling. We had our house appraised for our refinance. It appraised for more than we needed, so we were able to lock an even lower rate than we originally thought! I am pretty happy about that. I marvel at how excited kids get from balloons. I needed carnations for a preschool experiement we are doing tomorrow. So I took the kids with me to the flower shop. I bought each a balloon as well to keep them entertained. All three love them. Cameron has a bright green balloon. The lady tied it to his wrist. We had several inches of snow last night and today. Devin shoveled snow before he left for work and by 3pm, I was out there doing it again. We had about 6 more inches during that time. Okay, so some of you know that I was having strange reactions to the IUD. I had gained quite a bit of weight, which they claim the IUD does not cause. Well, my grandma has been in the hospital and was transfered to a nursing home temperarily. Last night, we also discovered that Devin's grammy temperarily died. She was having dialysis, so they were able to bring her back quickly and she is now on a ventilator. We are hoping she recovers quickly. So yeah, bad time for grandmas.

I took Cameron back off the milk and put him on soy milk again and the rash cleared up. So I guess my little guy is still lactose intolerant. He is doing better with the ear infection, he doesn't seem like he is in pain anymore. He isn't taking anitbiotics either now. Counter space is limited in our home, and we are still working on shelving issues. So my crockpot was on the floor in front of our shelves for a few days. Here are a few pictures from Cameron's First Birthday party. Contessa & Collin didn't allow Cameron to open the gifts, but he sure loves them. The big gift was a lion walker/ride on toy. It makes noise and he adores it. It's really cute and he is standing there playing with it right now!Oh, and I am very thankful Brian was willing to put together the big gift, sure was nice to not have to do it

Okay, I decided to set up a blog specifically for our little family. I will post pictures of the kids, input cute tidbits and anything else I come up with. Hopefully, it will keep everyone up-to-date on us and see how the kids are growing.
